i was simply devastated that breakfast was nonexistent, despite the empty claims of 'home cooked'. my room, more of a closet really, did come with the added bonus of thin walls, allowing me to enjoy my neighbor's reiteration of his snoring symphony. a special treat would have been appreciated, but alas, not even a welcome gift was offered.

My stay at Bay Avenue Inn was delightful, with a breathtaking view of Homer Spit from my room. Lori, the owner, provided a cozy atmosphere with exceptional breakfast options, including farm-fresh eggs. The common areas were perfect for relaxation.
Nothing to dislike.

Aye, the view from our room was straight fire over Kachemak Bay, fr. Lori was mad chill, lettin' us use her freezer for our halibut like we was family. Breakfast was dope too, farm-fresh eggs and all. Just coulda used more quiet at times, kitchen noise and all. Otherwise, this spot was a whole vibe.

It was just an appropriate option for a hurried visit in Homer with good value for cost. The view from the deck was spectacular, giving a nice place to unwind. Check in early if you want the best views from your room.

Staying for 2 nights in a Standard Queen Room revealed the charm and cleanliness of this accommodation. The breakfast layout allowed for a relaxed dining experience, and coffee was readily available early in the morning. The bathroom was notably immaculate, and the views from the deck were breathtaking. However, a noticeable kitchen noise during the stay detracted from the overall experience, and some room placements may need reconsideration for quieter stays. Regardless, the host provided excellent local recommendations for activities nearby.

The separate suite was super comfy and gave us a nice mix of privacy and access to the main house's cozy amenities. We loved hanging out in the lovely garden area and enjoyed relaxing by the sun terrace. Just a bit of noise from guests at times, but it didn’t ruin our overall vibe! 🌿
